My life is crappy,
Then again so am I.
Tonight could have been quite happy,
But instead, I chose to cry.
You see I look forward to a better day,
One where peace, justice and honesty are not in vain,
You have run the race and run it well, I trust my God will say,
Because you've trusted in my love, my peace, my reign.
So whilst my life on earth may not be glow-y,
As for a time, it's really quite snow-y.
I trust in my Lord, my God, my All,
For with Him, I cannot fall.
He carries me on eagle's wings,
Over all the toils and snares laid before me.
Beyond life's cares and mobile rings,
To a place where ALL are free.
